Made of Hard Lube-anodized, 6061-T6 aluminum, sheaves feature Torlon® rollers to carry high radial loads and carbon-black Delrin ® ball bearings to support sideloads and provide UV-protection. Select sheaves based on load-carrying capability. Installation requires clamping or securing inner race. Use for: Mainsheets Spinnaker sheets Afterguy/foreguy Footblocks Tulip Sheaves Tulip sheaves are ideal for applications where slight lead angle misalignments would otherwise lead to off-center loading and increased friction. The line friendly wide design is also helpful where the lead angle changes as it does in some outhaul systems.
