Soft Attachments
It’s time to go soft. Today, soft attachments are regularly replacing heavy stain-
less steel shackles and padeyes on boats everywhere. What’s driving this? Two 
words: weight savings. Lightweight, strong, and easy on deck gear, soft attachments 
reduce rigging mass without compromising performance. 
Soft attachments are constructed using multiple coils of high-strength Dyneema 
and Spectra – some of the most durable materials made. 
Harken’s expanded range of soft attachments can be used on their own or paired 
with Harken blocks like the Carbo T2, Zircon, Black Magic, V, or Fly block ranges.
